"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 3de Jaargang. 1918.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1918. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. IV Register pages (including Title page) + 298 pages. 23,6 x 15,8 cm. In Dutch.
Fair: Binding somewhat worn and rubbed. Rectification of some letter or number of some moves with blue ink on pages 7, 12, 44, 95, 125, 127-128, 151, 153, 155, 185, 191, 193 and 237-239, 251-252, 255 and 291. At the bottom of page 14 is a blue ink comment on move 47, then crossed out in pencil. Curiously, page 83 is duplicated, with 2 different versions. Some slight pencil notation, possibly erasable, and only relatively important on pages 100-101. Rectification and partial strikethrough of a word at the bottom of page 110, which has caused a small blue ink stain on pages 107-111 and a tiny, almost imperceptible hole on pages 108-109. Diagram from page 254 cut, causing page 253 in the Eggink-Citroen game to miss moves 7 from white to 11 from white. The missing moves are as follows: 7.Nd5 Qc5 8.Qe2 f5 9.Be3 Qa5+ 10.Bd2 Qc5 11.Bb4.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
