"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 6de Jaargang. 1921.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1921. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. Title page + IV Register pages (including another Title page) + 359 pages. 23,8 x 16,2 cm. In Dutch.
Very good: Bookbinding in good condition with the spine rubbed. Strong browning on the Half Title page (the 1st Title page) and somewhat less on the back cover safeguard. Few small foxing spots on the inside. The back of page 39 is blank, but, in fact, it is counted as page 40, since the "cover" of the March 3 issue is page 41 and its back is 42. Perhaps for this reason, they later duplicate the page 59 (one is the "cover" of the April 4 issue, and the other is the back page). In fact, from pages 60 to 122, the even pages are located on the right, and not on the left, as usual. This situation returns to normal, leaving the back of page 122 blank, turning the "cover" of the June 6 issue to be page 123, and its back 124. Interestingly, the back of page 159 is blank, and so as not to reproduce the "problem" of the even pages on the right, they do not count the cover of the July 7 issue. I honestly think it is a copy with a modest binding, but in good condition, and the interior is in very good condition.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
