"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 8de Jaargang. 1923.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1923. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. Title page (possibly fulfilling the function of Half Title page) + another Title page + VI Register pages + 392 pages. 23,8 x 16,3 cm. In Dutch.
Good: The only major flaw is a tear in the binding at the top of the spine. Some small spot, somewhat more visible on pages 172-173. Rectification of a letter with blue ink on pages 19, 166, 229 and 347. Annotations on pages 26-27, 80, 117 and 188. The "problem" of the even-numbered pages to the right appears again, from page 32 (the "cover" of the February 2 issue) to page 66, because the blank back of page 31 was not counted as page 32. The solution was to go from page 67 to page 69 (the "cover" of the March 3 issue). The blank back on page 95 is counted as page 96. The blank back on page 137 is counted as page 138. The blank back on page 169 is counted as page 170. The blank back on page 223 is counted as page 224. The blank back on page 255 is counted as page 256. The blank back on page 321 is counted as page 322. Some lowercase "perforation" affecting the bottom of the last pages, being more visible from page 379 to the end. Despite the flaws, the interior is in reasonably good condition, and I honestly think it's a good copy for binding.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
