"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 9de Jaargang. 1924.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1924. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. Title page (possibly fulfilling the function of Half Title page) + another Title page + V Register pages + Group portrait after page 68 + Lasker's portrait before page 130 + 300 pages. The 6-page bound in between mentioned in Klittich Auction 54 correspond to portraits and advertising pages. 23,8 x 16,1 cm. In Dutch.
Good to very good: The only really visible and important flaw is the slight breakage of the binding at the bottom of the spine, more important at the back cover. The "problem" of the even-numbered pages to the right appears again, from page 70 to page 74, because the advertising page previous of page 69 (after Group portrait) was not counted. The solution was to go from page 75 to page 77 (the "cover" of the April 4 issue). The blank back on page 107 is counted as page 108. One more time, the "problem" of the even-numbered pages to the right appears again, from page 130 to page 162, because the advertising page after page 129 was not counted. The solution was to go from page 163 to page 165 (the "cover" of the July 7 issue). The blank back on page 201 is counted as page 202. The blank back on page 247 is counted as page 248. The blank back on page 269 is counted as page 270. On page 294 White's move 7 (forgotten by the editor) written in ink. Annotation in pencil, possibly easy to erase, on page 300 and in the safeguard opposite.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
