"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 16de Jaargang. 1931.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1931. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. 329 pages + de Jonge's portrait after page 284 + Inhoud of December (annotations, perhaps of interest, before the Inhoud). Without Title page or Index, but with 2 articles cut from other publications, pasted inside the covers, and with interesting annotations and comments. 24 x 16,5 cm. In Dutch.
Good: The only really visible and important flaw is the important "breakage" of the binding at the bottom of the covers. Very few small spots, the most visible being on pages 33-34 and 263-266. Slight rectifications of 1 letter or number, or slight annotations with pencil (most important on pages 87, 166 and 262) in few pages, all erasable. Ink annotation on page 139 affecting page 138. Ink annotations on pages 146 and 237-239. Inside in good to very good condition. Despite the flaws, the interior is in reasonably good condition, and I honestly think it's a good copy for binding.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
