Someone has handwritten the year "1874" on the title page (see scan). The covers have scuffing to extremities (see scan) and the internal pages have light foxing to the first and last few pages but the main interior of the book is free. The endpapers show a slight 'wave' pattern as though the book may have been subjected to slight damp in the past but not the main interior pages. Some of the internal pages have a vertical crease (see scan). A rare chess volume, seldom seen for sale. Approx.unpacked weight is 550g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50.
