"Petrosian's Best Games of Chess, 1946-63" by P. H.Clarke. Published in hardback by Bell & Sons in 1971. Second Edition. 205pp. The book is in Very Good overall condition for its age. The book is tightly bound and stands straight with no shelf lean. There is no foxing to the page edge block and the internal pages are all very clean. Inscription free. The book looks largely unread. The dustjacket is in Good+ condition. It has no loss but has a strange linen strip along the top and bottom edges (see scans) that effectively increase the size of the jacket. Presumably the original jacket was too small. I have seen this is a few books over the years and it really depends on the taste of a prospective purchaser whether this is an eye sore or not. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 515g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
