"Rook v. Minor Piece Endings" by Yuri Averbakh. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1978. Both First UK Edition. 162pp. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The book is free of foxing. The page edge block is clean. It does have a couple of stickers that either have a previous owner's name on it or cover up a previous owner's name (see scans). There is also a 'Errata' sheet loosely glued to one of the first few pages. Aside from these minor depredations the volume is in VG condition and looks largely unread. The dustjacket is also in VG condition and is now protected by removable see-through sleeve. Positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
