The Italian chess player Carlo Salvioli (1848 - 1930) was a chess writer (among other things as editor of the magazine Nuova Revista degli Scacchi and head of various chess columns), endgame theorist and became Italian master in 1881.
Condition: Bound in new cloth with red title field on spine. Paper yellowed, especially at the edges.
