"Candidates Matches, 1968" by B. Cafferty (trans). Published in softback by The Chess Player in 1970. First UK Edition. 245pp. The book is in Good Minus overall condition. The binding is good although there is the suspicion from handling the book that some pages have been re-glued into place. The Chess Player had a history of pages falling out after awhile, in my experience. The internal pages are all clean and annotation free. The page edge block shows moderate signs of age and handling. Several grainy photos of players and also several cartoons. Annotations were translated by Cafferty from a variety of USSR sources. Games are in English descriptive notation. Uncommon.
