"The British Chess Magazine, 1920". Published in hardback by Walbrook & Co in 1920 (the only year they were the publishers). Volume 40. First Edition. 400pp. The volume is in Good Minus condition for its age. With index. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The page edge block is tanned, from age only. Internally the volume appears to be inscription free apart from a previous owner's name on the front endpaper. The faults with the volume are several but minor. It gives the impression of having been well read and also had a recent glue repair to the page gutter. The boards have superficial damage and the tips are bent in (see scan). The gilt lettering on the spine has faded but is still readable. Some of the pages have a vertical crease while others suffer from creasing or light scuff marks. A good reference copy. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Any questions, please just ask. Approx.unpacked weight: 600g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
