"The British Chess Magazine, 1922". Published in hardback by Whitehead and Miller in 1922. Volume 42. First Edition. 494pp. The volume is in Fair Plus condition for its age. With index. The binding is strong although there is a moderate shelf lean. The page edge block is heavily tanned from age and use. This volume was formerly the property of Leeds Chess Club in England. Internally the volume appears to be inscription free apart from a previous owner's name on the front endpaper. The faults with the volume are several. It gives the impression of having been well read. The boards have superficial damage and the tips are bent in (see scan). The gilt lettering on the spine has faded but is still readable. Some of the pages suffer from creasing or light scuff marks (particularly at the start and end of the volume). A reference copy only. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Any questions, please just ask. Approx.unpacked weight: 700g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
