Civil Service Printing and Publishing Company, London, 1879, First edition, frontispiece with 1 colored diagram (Chess Problem) with tracing paper, 100 chess diagrams in text. Contemporary private blu linenbinding with gilt lettering in title, Linde - N. 2443.
This book presented to A. Mackenzie.
In addition to the 100 problems (12 two movers, 73 three movers, 14 four movers, 1 puzzle and 1 retractor).
Very rare, very scarce and very hard to find.
Binding is very tight. Internally very good with no writings.
Very good condition.
