"Chess the Hard Way!" by D.A. Yanofsky. Published in hardback by Pitman and Sons in 1953. First Edition. 149pp. A very nice copy of this quite scarce chess title. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight, the book stands straight and has no shelf lean. The internal pages are all very clean apart from a small, dried stain on pp.79-82, see scan. It is free from foxing apart from a few tiny light coloured specks on the page edge block, nothing of consequence. It is inscription and annotation free. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has scuffing, tiny chips and nicks to note plus it is price-clipped. It is now protected by a quality 'Gaylord' removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request.
