"The Best Games of C.H.O'D Alexander" by Harry Golombek and William Hartston. Published in hardback by OUP in 1976. First Edition. 164 large pages. The book is in Very Good condition. Internally the (green) pages are all very clean and inscription free. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The book's dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It suffers from the usual fault seen with this volume, namely severe sunning to the spine area which unfortunately extends onto the front and back covers and has faded some of the title lettering on the dustjacket (see scans). The fading to the spine area of the dustjacket has resulted in the lettering along the spine appearing to be white in colour. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. A quite scarce and sought after chess volume. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 580g.
