DESCRIPTION

"R.P. Michell - A Master of British Chess" by J. du Mont. Published in hardback by Pitman and Sons in 1947. First Edition. 108pp. A nice copy of this quite scarce chess title. The book is in Very Good Minus condition. The binding is tight and the book has no shelf lean or foxing. It is inscription and annotation free. There are a couple of pages at the rear of the book that suffer from what looks like a very small, dried liquid stain but that is all that detracts from the volume. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has had a neat repair done to the head of the spine to camauflage a small area of loss. It also has scuffing / discolouration to the spine area. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. A hard to find chess title, especially with its dustjacket. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
