Betts states 1929 for this American edition but the title page clearly states 1930.
Maroon cloth covers with title on spine, some looseness internally.
The Contents and Index to Openings have both been heavily annotated and there are occassional writings throughout the book, presumably by the previous owner Byron B Price of Chicago.
A number of cuttings have also been pasted into the book including several tournament cross tables from 1935. -See images.
The book is a collection of biographies, portraits and specimen games of the leading masters of the period, most of whom were personal acquaintances of the authors.
Postage will be charged at cost; Royal Mail approx £3 in UK, £8 economy to Europe, or £13 tracked and signed.
