Very good to excellent: Dust jacket with some scratches (most visible on the back cover) and some slight tears on the edges of the dust jacket (most visible in the upper outer corner of the back cover), although complete and in good to very good condition. The dust jacket has a protective plastic dust jacket, easily removable, as it is not glued in any way. The color tone of the hard binding (in excellent condition) is too light due to the light. The most similar tone is that of the thorn, a nice cream color. Stamp of property of former owner in the first safeguard. Inside almost as new.
Not in L/N. Reprint of the 1st Edition of 1936: "Colle's chess masterpieces" (L/N 3271). New York, Black Knight Press, 1936.
Betts 29-32: "51 fully annotated games, with indexes of opponents, games and dates, openings, tactical motifs, strategical motifs, and end-games. The introduction is a biographical note".
