Twelfth year of iconic french chess magazine. Years and volumes differ by one because of the Franco-German war.
Nice library binding, stamp of Neuer Wiener Schachclub on half-title, which is somewhat unstuck. Corners worn, front free endpaper torn near spine, pages 387-395 loose and with frazzled edges.
pp 33-48 misbound after p 16, according to pencilled note on page 49 by Wendel Kruijswijk, co-author of the L/N catalogue.
