DESCRIPTION

"Budapest World Candidates Tournament, 1950" by E. Cordingley. Published by Chess Students Quarterly in 1951. First Edition. Limited Edition of Tournament Books #18. Number 220 (apparently of 360 numbered copies). 72pp. Betts 25-197. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or foxing present. There is what appears to be the residue of an old sticker on the front board and a couple of small smudges on the rear cover. Internally the booklet is clean and annotation free. The pages have tanned with age but there are no tears or loose leafs. There is a previous owner's name in pen on the inside of the front board and another owner's sticker (see scan). As seen in other copies of this booklet there are printing errors on a couple of pages that are in every copy (see scan). Games are given in a shortened version of English descriptive notation. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
