"York Chess Congress, 1959" published in semi-stiff card covers by 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield' (B.H. Wood, ed) in 1959 or 1960. First Edition. 63pp. Betts 25-287. The covers are clean although someone has doodled with a red pen into some of the booklet lettering (see scan). Internally the volume is in Good condition. The semi-glossy paper is clean and free of foxing. The booklet was, however, previously owned by a keen chess player who has added their own, light, notes to some game scores and circled several entries in the Index (see scan). Previous owner's name on the front endpaper. Unannotated games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
