"R.P. Michell - A Master of British Chess" by J. du Mont. Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman and Sons in 1947. First Edition. 108pp. Betts 29-76. The book is in Fair condition for its age. The binding is good and the book has no shelf lean. The internal pages are all clean and inscription free apart from a penned gift dedication on the front endpaper. There is a small amount of mild foxing to the first and last couple of pages but I would grade the interior of the book as being in Good condition. The page edge shows signs of handling. The main depredation with the volume is the outer boards which are strongly faded and discoloured (see scan). Despite the covers, this is still a prefectly readable reference copy of a scarce chess title. Games are given in English descriptive notation. No DJ. Further scanned images are available on request.
