DESCRIPTION

1001 problemas - Arnoldo Ellerman

This collection of problems is the largest ever published, it represents the creation of a single composer and the most surprising thing about it is that it is made up almost exclusively of problems in two moves (only 43 problems in three moves and 2 in four).

Such a collection would have been impossible thirty or forty years ago, but Ellerman has been one of the specialists, whose works, along with those of Guidelli, Mansfield, Gamage, Marí, Barulin and others, have succeeded in reviving the problem of two plays in the game. last quarter of a century; from a situation of subordinate importance, to occupying a dominant place in the minds of the majority of problem solvers in the world.

And of all the great two-play problem writers, Ellerman has been the most prolific and the most successful in problem contests.
