Old wallet having supposedly belonged to Alexandre Alekhine.
It comes from the landlord having followed after departure of the Alekhine couple from Saint Aubin le Cauf castle (France), where Alekhine and his wife, Grace, lived.

It's of course rather worn, especially the silk lining, but the general appearance stays nice. "A. Alexin" is inscribed on a leather strip, hand sewn inside.
