Besançon, self published, 1949. Original softback edition. 4 leaves only typed on the front + 33 typed pages. 26,6 x 21,2 cm. In French.
Good: The biggest flaw is the great browning of the edges of the covers, and some spots in front cover. Some light wrinkle and general browning. Otherwise in good to very good condition.
The first Edition was numbered 200 copies. There are only 2 differences: the front cover (in 1st Ed. the front cover design is handmade), and the last page is numbered with the copy number. For your information, the last 2 photographs are from the 1st Edition numbered.
Very special book, contains 45 games of the France Absolute Chess Championship (TOURNOI PRINCIPAL) of 1949, but it also contains 45 games of the TOURNOI MAJEUR, and a selection of 10 games in the TOURNOI de PROMOTION, practically all games with comments of the Chess Master Victor Khan.
Very important: these 55 last games, and these last 2 tournaments, not present in the ChessBase DataBase.
