British Chess Federation Year Book 1938-1945:
Edited by J.H.van Meurs. Leeds 1946. 18cm, stapled. With 2 portraits, tables, 248 pages. Original thin cardboard binding with lettering on front. Betts 8-41. "Including constituent units and counties; Contains reports of activities, results, details of constitution, and names and addresses of officials of the British Chess Federation and its units (including county associations, affiliated leagues and clubs). This combined volume covers all of the War years."(according to Betts p. 64). Former owner name M.P. Furmston (mentioned by Betts see page XVI) on title.
Condition: Binding with slight wear and soil, paper browned, staples rusty. Inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Good!

One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight isn´t important although it is limited to 31,5 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

- PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€14,90, other EU = €17,90
- PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€19,90, other EU = €22,90
Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
