Original softback front cover + 400 pages (without Index) + 8 unnumbered publisher pages, ahead of page 41 + page with portraits of Chigorin, Pillsbury and Lasker after page 164 + page with portraits of Schiffers, Steinitz and Tarrasch after page 292. Pages 293-304 are not present, but all the numbers are present, going from the quadruple number 6-9 to the triple number 10-12. In Shakarov-2 there is no information about any extra number, mentioning double, triple or quadruple numbers as additional information. I am attaching a photo from that catalog on this issue. I can honestly not be sure if it is due to a publisher or printer error, or an extra number is missing, although I suppose that if an extra number had been published Sakharov-2 would have mentioned it. Bound without covers. 21,6 x 15,9 cm. In Russian.
Very good: Binding in good to very condition, sligthly worn, mainly in the spine. Inside with some pages with slight darkening. Some small stamp from the former owner, and a strikeout on page 91. Otherwise, inside in very good condition.
