Praha, Cesky spolek sachovni, 1887. Contemporary cloth, spine and front cover lettered. XL + 362 pages. Size 17.5 cm. The weight 540 grams. LN 2482; Soukup 27; Mokry 60. In Czech.
Good or better: binding is OK. The front free endpaper has a minor tear (ca 0.3 cm) at the fore-edge and is several centimetres cut near spine at the bottom. It is almost not visible - see pictures 3 and 2. Internally OK, pages are a little close trimmed, but text is always unaffected. There are no marks or notes inside.
Contains 320 problems of Czech composers, of which 198 are 3-movers, the rest are 2-, 4-, 5-movers. Also 17 helpmates.
All problems are diagramed, with solutions.
The authors of the book are Josef Pospisil, Jan Dobrusky and Jan Kotrc.
