DESCRIPTION

British Chess Magazine 1930

British Chess Magazine 1930. Vol. 50. No. 1-12 printed in 12 issues. One plate (no. 3). Many photos in text. Many diagrams. Descriptive notation. 468/508 pages. 21 cm. Pagination error in June issue. Starts at p. 166 but should have been p. 205. Several un-numbered pages with ads. Index, 16 pages including the title page, was published in no. 12. Not included "The tournament book Nice 1930 by EZE"  The supplement, London Chess League (4 pp) unpaginated was published in the October issue (no. 10). Publishers binding issued in maroon cloth. Published by The British Chess Magazine, Whitehead & Miller, Leeds, England. L/N 6135. Kieler Schachkatalog 51. Betts 7 - 27. Felice 317.

Condition: Binding with some wear. Former owner name on first endpaper. Title page slightly browned uneven. Between page 256 and 257 some pages have been removed, probably the supplement Nice 1930. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Still Good!

Postage EUR (insurance included): It depends on whether the shipment is made by parcel or registered mail. I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.

I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.

I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight isn´t important although it is limited to 31,5 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

  1. PM 045 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 45 cm) GER=€9,90, other EU = €12,90
  2. PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€14,90, other EU = €17,90
  3. PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€19,90, other EU = €22,90

Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.

Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
