Harrie Grondijs: Mudhead Chessist - Oddities and Ends.
Mudhead Chessist - Oddities and Ends, form a chain of inter-related short stories in most of which an original fairy chess problem, or chess-like puzzle of the author’s own devising, plays a fundamental role.
Some of the stories build on dystopic incidents (to name the story aptly titled Crucifixation). From time to time a new story is added to widen the circle formed by this progressing (cumulative) mini-series.
This copy is number 40 of draft-series 30 – 43 (95 pages, produced in 2016). To date (2021), a total of ca. 50 copies exist, each with a unique cover illustration.
