"Chess the Hard Way!" by D.A. Yanofsky. Published in hardback by Pitman and Sons in 1953. First Edition. 149pp. A nice copy of this quite scarce chess title. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight, the book stands straight and has no shelf lean. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free apart from a small previous owner's ink stamp on pp.1 and 149, see scans. The book is free of foxing. The page edge blocks are evenly tanned, from age only. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has light scuffing, short, closed tears and minusule nicks to note plus it is price-clipped (front and back). Games are given in English descriptive notation. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
