Several pieces of original chess ephemera from the 1940s: 1. A 4pp "Official Programme" from the "Sunday Chronicle" Chess Tournament of 1946 plus a partly completed players scorecard; 2. A 'Chess, Sutton Coldfield' receipt for "Life Subscription" to the magazine; 3. Several chess related letters and receipts signed by B.H Wood, Julius du Mont, C.S. Kipping, T.H. George, A.W. Daniel, S. Sedgwick and 'unknown'. These items refer to chess magazine collection/subscription and The British Problem Society plus Ilford Chess Club in East London/Essex. Condition is 'Good'.
