New York (Woodside), The Chess Review, 1935. Dark blue cloth binding with lettering on spine. 292 pages. Index in pages 291-292 and inside of back cover of December. All covers bound in. All the interiors of the back covers have important information, and in many cases they continue the text of the last numbered page above. 25,8 x 17,8 cm. In English.
Very good: Some slight defect in the binding, more visible on the back cover that has some whitish area. The January issue has water stains on the outer side corners, more visible on the covers, and softer on the inside, as well as some tears on the bottom edge of the back cover. Slight annotations in pencil (perhaps erasable) on pages 5, 22, 80 and 146. Break in the lower edge of the front cover of the June issue, which has some small spots, and a lot of foxing inside. Old owner address stamp on pages 149, 151, 245 and 269. Small tear on the back cover of the October issue. Vertical fold and slight wrinkles in various numbers. Despite the numerous flaws described, the volume feels phenomenal in the hands.
