Good: some general wear, no major flaws.
52 chess columns = all published in this volume. This 9th volume ran weekly from 27/10/1900 to 19/10/1901, contains 51 problems and 55 games. Enclosed also title/index pages of the magazine.
Weekly publication of the Besedy Lidu is an exception, only volumes 1901 and 1902 were published in this way.
Editors in this volume Josef Pospisil + J. V. Stefanydes.
Besedy lidu was a fortnightly in Prague, published in 1893-1921. Chess column was published 01/02/1893-00/10/1895 & 06/11/1897-28/09/1921.
