"The British Chess Magazine, 1944". Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1944. Volume 64. First Edition. 296pp. The volume is in Good Plus overall condition. Includes index. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The boards are clean although the gilt lettering on the spine has faded considerably. There is a small area on the rear board of surface creasing. There is a tiny dent to the top, right of the front board (see scans). Internally the volume is in Very Good condition. The pages are very clean and inscription/annotation free although heavily tanned from age due to the poorer quality of paper available during WW2. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The volume is free of foxing. The page edge blocks are tanned, from age only. Games are in English descriptive notation. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. 'Signed For' postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £5.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
