"The British Chess Magazine, 1945". Published by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1945. Volume 65. Privately bound in blue hardback. First Edition. 312pp. The volume is in Very Good overall condition. Includes index. The boards are clean. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The page edge blocks are tanned, from age only. The gilt lettering on the spine is still clear. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription/annotation free apart from the occasional pencil tick at the start of a game (see scans). The volume is free of foxing although the pages have tanned due to the poorer quality of paper available during WW2. Games are in English descriptive notation. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
