"300 Fins de Partie (3ème Édition de "150 Fins de Partie")" by Henri Rinck. Published in hardback by Hijos de Paluzíe, Barcelona in 1919. First Edition. 646pp. LN: 2212. Please excuse my ignorance but I am unsure of the language this volume is written in. The text is surely French but I've seen a copy of this edition sold on LSAK previously which referred to the book being in Spanish algebraic notation. Perhaps both statements are true and it is a mixture of both languages? Anyway, the book is in Good Plus overall condition, for its age. The binding is a little shaky as though the book may have been dropped from a height at some point in the last 100 years. The boards and spine area have surface damage and slight loss (see scans). The spine area has also faded and darkened. The book is currently housed in a tatty looking, open-ended slip case. I am unsure if this is original to this edition or not. The page edge block is reasonably clean, although moderately tanned. Internally, the volume is in Very Good condition. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free. There is no foxing to the book. On the title page there is a penned entry that appears to read: No.77. H.R". I credit this entry to the author for the reasons of being his initials and also the similarity in handwriting to his full autograph, seen in other volumes online and also as reproduced on this book's front board. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Heavy! 'Signed For' postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £5.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
