"Chess Life & Review, 1972" edited by Bert Hochberg. Published in black hardback in 1972. First Edition. 815(!) large pages. Includes index. The volume consists of all twelve issues of CL&R for the seminal year of Spassky vs Fischer in Reykjavik. The volume is in Very Good Plus condition and looks largely unread. It is inscription and annotation free. There is no foxing present. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The page edge blocks are very clean. The individual magazine covers are bound in. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. An absolute gem of a chess volume. Further scanned images are available on request. Very Heavy! Weighs over 2.2kg, unpacked. I will find the most economical method of shipping based on the winning bidder's destination and whether insurance/tracking/signature, etc is required. Any questions, please just ask.
