The Indexes of this magazine are usually published in the following year, but curiously the Index of 1903 gives the year of publication 1905. It is almost certainly a mistake, since it makes no sense to publish the Index almost 2 years later, especially considering that the magazine was published in 1904, but not in 1905) + 2 unnumbered advertising pages + 460 pages. Bound without covers. 24,4 x 16,7 cm. In Russian.

Good: Defects in the binding, visible in the photos, especially some stains on the covers, as well as the faulty condition of the spine, with a significant missing in its upper part, and with some slight cracks on its edges. Index with enough foxing, and with a significant wrinkle in its lower outer corner. Inside, without major flaws. In a few pages some foxing, a slight tear on some edge, a tiny hole on pages 239-240, and other minor defects. The most notable is the small "accident" in the central part of the spine, between pages 140-141, with a small tear that has caused a small part of the paper on pages 141-142 to stick to page 140. In good general condition (inside, maybe good to very good), with a solid binding. Please, see all the photos, which are part of the description.

Since the first year 1891 was published with the Title "Шашечница" (L/N 6314; 256 Sakharov-2; Di Felice 2439) L/N and Di Felice give a code for the first year and a different one for the following years. However, Shakharov-2 gives only one code.

1892 - 2nd Year: numbers 7-18. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov & D. I. Sargin. Although in Sakharov-2 Sargin is mentioned as sole Editor/Publisher since number 17 of 1892, on the final pages of numbers 17 (page 408) and 18 (page 438) of 1892, both, Bobrov and Sargin, sign as Editors/Publishers. However, on the last page (46) of number 19 of the following year 1893, only Sargin signs as Editor/Publisher.

1901 - 4th Year: numbers 31-42. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov.

1902 - 5th Year: numbers 43-54. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov.

1903 - 6th Year: numbers 55-66.

1904 - 7th Year: numbers 67-78. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov. According to Sakharov-2, the promised numbers 77/78 didn't come out.

1909 - 8th Year: numbers 79-90. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov.

1910 - 9th Year: numbers 91-95. Ed. by P. P. Bobrov.
