Zacatecas, Club de Ajedrez "LIC. RAFAEL NORIEGA", 1928. Original softback edition. VIII unnumbered pages (including Title page) + 8 photographic pages on glossy paper + 65 pages + Index. Carlos Torre's facsimile signature is present on 2 pages. 22,4 x 15,5 cm. In Spanish.
Good: As can be seen in the photographs, the most important defect is the condition of the covers, which are quite worn, with some small stains and some dirt, with a relatively significant missing on the outer side edge of the front cover, and with a slight discoloration in practically 50% of the back cover. There are also 2 very strong annotations in pencil that are difficult to erase (1 in the upper outer corner of the front cover, and another on the spine), since it is certain that if they are erased the trace of the writing will remain. And the spine has a slight tear at the bottom of the back cover. Some slight stain on the Title Page, except a large one at the top (difficult to explain). Inside with slight wrinkles, very few small stains, and 5 stamps from the "Downtown Y Chess Club" but in good to very good condition.

"El Torneo de Ajedrez para el Campeonato de la República Mexicana": VIII unnumbered pages (including Title page) + 8 photographic pages on glossy paper + 38 pages. Chronicle of the Mexican Championship of 1926, played by 4 players in a double round, of which Carlos Torre was the brilliant winner, winning all 6 games. The 12 games of the Championship are analyzed. Honestly, due to the data that appears in the book, it is not possible to guarantee 100% that Carlos Torre is the Author, or that the analysis of the games are his, although it probably is.
"DESAROLLO de la habilidad en el ajedrez". Por CARLOS TORRE: Pages 39-65. This work tries to be an aid to improve the ability of the chess players in formation, and for that Carlos Torre analyzes 8 of his games. Spanish translation of the Russian Edition of 1926 (L/N 1471) and English Edition of 1926 (not in L/N). There is a 2nd Edition in Spanish published in 1944 (L/N 1470). Indicate that the English Edition was published by AMERICAN CHESS BULLETIN in 1926, shortly after the Russian Edition.
AN AUTHENTIC RARITY, EXTREMELY SCARCE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!! In the 32 editions of the Klittich-Pfankuch Auktion that I know, 2003 November - 2006 June, and 2008 November - 2020 December, a copy of this booklet was never auctioned!!
