"Covers all aspects of chess, including works on games derived from chess, and literary works in which reference to chess is made. Lists 2,568 separate editions, with analytical, rather than critical, descriptions for thos examined. ncludes periodical and other serial publications. Arrangemant is by subject in 55 independently numbered sections. Within each section works are usually listed chronologically. The index of just over 100 pages lists authors, titles, publishers' series and subjects in a single sequence." [Lusis]
