"The British Chess Magazine, 1972". Edited by Brian Reilly and published in hardback by the BCM in 1972. First Edition. 500pp. No index. All twelve monthly editions (magazines covers are not bound in) of the BCM for the seminal year of 1972, the year of the "Match of the Century " between Boris Spassky and Bobby Fischer in Iceland. The volume is in Near Fine, unread condition. The binding is tight, the internal pages are all very clean and annotation free. The page edge blocks are very clean and there is no foxing present. The gilt lettering to the spine is in excellent condition. All-in-all, this volume is in wonderful condition for its age and has clearly been very well cared for over the years. Quite scarce.
