An uncommon little chess booklet: "Southsea Chess Tournament, 1949" by H. Golombek. Published in softback by En Passant Publications in 1949 as "Supplement No. 2". First Edition. 40pp. Betts 25-194. The booklet is in Good Minus condition. The staples have rusted but not bled. The internal pages are inscription free but all suffer from extensive foxing-like speckling which detracts from the cosmetic look of the booklet. Despite this flaw, the booklet is still a good reading copy. The covers are clean and the booklet is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Any questions, please just ask. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
