The book contains detailed biography and 106 games by Klaus Junge, most of them annotated, as well as all 90 games of the two Junge memorial tournaments in 1955 and 1980. Klaus Junge (1924 - 1945) was the most hopeful German talent who, as an officer in the Wehrmacht, died during the Battle of Welle shortly before the end of World War II.
