Südwestdeutsche Schachzeitung 1889. Editor and publisher: Adolf Stern, Mannheim, 1888-1889. Complete volume 4. Published weekly - 52 issues + index. 256 pages. A lot of diagrams. In German. LN 6055.
Rare German chess weekly. The first issue of this volume was published already on December 30, 1888. The last 52nd on December 22, 1889. Four double issues were published during the year: 10-11, 15-16, 19-20 and 30-31. The contents of the magazine are mainly problems, games and chess news from around the world.
Condition - Good: Green-black worn binding, in which loose issues + index are inserted - see photos. Most issues are in good condition, edges are a little wrinkled and sometimes slightly soiled. A few brown stains on the front page of the index.
