The Berlin master, author, chess historian and owner of a large chess library Tassilo von Heydebrand und der Lasa (1818 - 1899) was one of the most important masters and theorists of the Berlin chess school. Classic textbook that gives a concise and comprehensive introduction to the various parts of analytic chess theory in an easily understandable explanation of the essentials. His "guide" is aimed at chess fans who already have some knowledge. (most of the text taken from the KWABC database maintained by Per Skjoldager)

Condition - Fair to Good: private half-closed binding with lettering on spine. Binding is worn and lettering faded. Foxing on the first four and last five pages. Inside ok, only with occasional smaller stains.
