Bochum, Schach-Echo, no date (about 1936). Orig. softcover. 40 pages. Size 23.5 cm. In German. The weight 80 grams. LN 5515.

Fair to good: spine somewhat worn, covers somewhat soiled/stained. Title a little stained. Light water stains on pages 7/8 (picture 3). Signed by Paul Keres and Karel Opocensky on title

Biographical data:

Paul Keres (1916-1975), Estonian GM, one of the world best players in 1940s-1950s. He was nicknamed The Crown Prince of Chess. Noted theoretician, author of many books.

Karel Opocensky (1892-1975), strong Czech chess master, 4x Czechoslovak champion in 1927, 1929, 1938, 1944. At the 1933 chess olympiad, he scored 12,5 points of 14 games.
