Good to very good: light/some general signs of use, some pen writings on the back.

Biographical data of some players:

Karel Opocensky (1892-1975), strong chess master, author of several books. His best years were 1920s and 1930s: 4 times Czechoslovak champion (1927, 1929, 1938, 1944). He took part in chess olympiads 1931, 1933, 1935 and 1939. At the 1933 chess olympiad made Opocensky 12,5 points of 14 and helped considerably to the 2nd place of the Czechoslovak team.

Maxmilian (Max) Ujtelky, 1915-1979, Slovak IM, Czechoslovak co-champion in 1960, a direct descendant of Hungarian composer Ferenc (Franz) Liszt.

Miroslav Filip (1928-2009), Czech GM, the best Czechoslovak player in 1950s, one of world's best chess players around 1960, World Championship Candidate 1956 and 1962. GM Filip is also well known as arbiter (Karpov - Korchnoi, Baguio 1978, women world championships etc).

Josef Lokvenc (1899-1974), Austrian IM, German champion in 1943, Austrian champion 1951 and 1953.

Frantisek Blatny (1933-2015), Czech Master, Czechoslovak co-champion in 1964, father of GM Pavel Blatny.

Ludek Pachman (1924-2003), Czech GM, in 1940s and 1950s the best Czechoslovak player together with M. Filip, 7x Czechoslovak champion, German champion. He took part on many chess olympiads. Chess writer and theoretician. He won 2 games against Bobby Fischer in 1959.

Julius Kozma (1929-2009), Slovak IM, one of the best Slovak players for years. Noted chess writer, journalist, author of several books.  

Braslav Rabar (1919-1973), IM, Yugoslav Champion in 1951 and 1953, Austrian champion 1951 and 1953, author of the (first) Chess Informant opening classification system.

Vlastimil Jansa (born 1942), one of the strongest Czechoslovak grandmasters in 1960s-1980s. Multiple winner and/or co-winner of the Czechoslovak championship, he took part on 10+ chess olympiads.  The winner of the 2018 World Senior Championship (65+).

Petar Trifunovic (1910-1980), 5x Yugoslavian chess champion.
