Deutsche Schachblaetter 1940.
Leipzig, 1940. Contemporary halfcloth, spine lettered. 316 pages. Size 22.5 cm. The weight 320 grams. LN 6066. In German.
Good to very good: light signs of use, no flaws, internally OK with no writings. Stamp of previous owner on front paste-down = Czech problem composer and collector Ilja Mikan. Stamp of another previous owner on page 1 = Czech problem composer Rudolf Bania.
Complete volume - numbers 1-24 (these are always double numbers), index = pp.215-216. Covers are not bound in. There is no title page, it appears only in the copies in the original publisher's binding. No plates were published in this volume.
Deutsche Schachblaetter was published monthly in 1909-1943 and after a break 1948-1952.
