Brno, self-edition of Alena Jurkova, 2015. Orig. hardcover with no dust jacket, as issued. 150 + 32 + (4) pages, many b/w and color photos in text. In Czech. Size 20 cm. The weight 350 grams.
Fine: like new.
Miroslav Jurka was one of the strongest chess players in Brno, Czechia. He died prematurely at the age of 49.
The book was privately published in a small edition by Alena Jurkova (Miroslav Jurka’s wife). The book was never offered in the bookshops, it was available only for friends and colleagues. I was told that circulation was only 30 copies – however this fact is not stated in the book.
